Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has left the club to succeed Claude Puel at Leicester City, after the Frenchman was sacked on Monday following his side’s embarrassing defeat to Crystal Palace at the weekend.
It is understood that Kolo Toure and assistant Chris Davies will join Rodgers at the Premier League club.
Losing 4-1 at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday was the straw that finally broke the camel’s back when it came to Claude Puel’s time at Leicester City. The manager was under pressure at the end of last season but kept hold of his job.
After a run of four defeats at home, including a loss to relegation threatened Cardiff City, the Foxes called time of the former Southampton manager’s time at the King Power Stadium.
