BREAKING: 91-Year Old Woman Becomes Malta’s 32nd COVID-19 Victim

The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Ministry for Health has just announced that a 91-year old woman has died when she was positive for COVID-19.

In a statement the Ministry said that the woman, who had underlying medical conditions, tested positive for the virus on the 10th of September, and was subsequently admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on the 22nd September, where she sadly passed away yesterday.

Once again the Health Ministry appealed for everyone to continue following all the instructions being given by the Health Authorities, including hand hygiene, social distancing and the use of masks.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the 91-year old woman at such a difficult time.
