Boris Johnson Is Considering Running For PM

Boris Johnson is considering running for UK Prime Minister again after the dramatic resignation of Liz Truss.

 
Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson who resigned earlier this year due to various scandals that occurred under his watch is considering running again due to the dramatic resignation of Liz Truss close allies have confirmed.
One ally told the Guardian that Johnson felt it was in the “national interest” for him to stage a return.  Another said that it was felt his premiership had been unfairly “cut off before its time” and that he still had plenty to do as PM.
However, the likelihood of Johnson running again appeared less likely after the Conservative party announced that the requirement to qualify for the ballot paper would be the backing of 100 MPs. Some Tory MPs even said Johnson would be wasting his time by running.
