Billie Eilish Wins Her First Oscar For ‘No Time To Die’

Billie Eilish just won her first Oscar for ‘No Time To Die’.

Herself and her brother/collaborator Finneas O’Connell won over DIXSON and Beyoncè’s ‘Be Alive’ for King Richard, Lin-Manuel Miranda for Encanto‘s ‘Dos Oruguitas’, Van Morrison for Belfast‘s ‘Down to Joy’ and Diane Warren’s ‘Somehow You Do’ for Four Good Days.

Billie was one of the favourites for winning the Oscar. In fact, taking home the Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media, the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song and the Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Song, helped her stand out from her competition.

Eilish said: “It’s completely unbelievable that we are here being recognised for this song, and this is a peak life experience for us as songwriters and artists. To be recognised today among these other incredible nominees is something we most certainly do not take for granted.”
