Sticking to her word, Roberta Metsola is chairing today’s session using the Maltese language, which is, in and of itself, a nice moment of pride.
Earlier this month, Roberta Metsola had been unanimously voted in as First Vice President of the European Parliament. The announcement was given by EP President David Sassoli.
“Being elected Vice-President of the European Parliament is such an honour. It means a great deal and I will work hard to continue to build bridges between citizens and the European decision-making process,” Metsola had tweeted.
