Behind The Scenes Footage Of Jurassic World: Dominion In Malta

None of us could really contain our excitement when the story broke earlier this year that Jurassic World: Dominion would partly be filmed in Malta.

However, Covid-19 interfered with plans to begin filming in May, and a surge in cases in August has meant that initial filming was only able to go ahead with a second unit crew.

Nonetheless, eagle-eyed fans and passers-by have captured some epic shots of the filming so far. Here’s what we have so far:

Filling in for Chris Pratt and performing Owen’s stunts, this is rumoured to be Owen’s stunt double – and in fact that is exactly what we would expect to see Owen wearing in the films!

New dinosaur debuting in Malta? Mega Jurassic fans think this could be a Pyroraptor; a never seen before dinosaur appearing in Jurassic World: Dominion!

Looks Like This Might Be Jurassic World Dominion’s Pyroraptor Which I Reported On A Few Months Back. • • Other dinosaurs that it could be are Herrerasaurus, Deinonychus, or some other genus of Raptor. • • Now this is just a maquette not an animatronic so it’s used for reference and the design might change for the final film. • • Thoughts? • • #JurassicPark #JurassicWorld #JurassicWorld2 #JurassicWorldSequel #JurassicWorldFallenKingdom #FallenKingdom #InGen #Biosyn #Dinosaurs #News #Information #JurassicParkIII #TheLostWorldJurassicPark #Toys #Mattel #DPG #DinosurProtectionGroup #WeCanSaveThem #JurassicWorldEvolution #JurassicWorld3 #JurassicWorldDominion #JurassicJune

This is what we would imagine to be a classic dinosaur chase scene happening in the streets of Valletta

Whilst we’re currently not expected to see big names from the first unit crew such as Chris Pratt or Bryce Dallas Howard in Malta, you might able to stumble upon some more filming in our streets all throughout September.

Jurassic World: Dominion is still expected to be out in cinemas in July 2021 despite the short delay in filming.
