Beer Is Officially Banned From Qatar World Cup

 

No Italy first… now no beer?

 

World cup fans have been hit with a stadium beer ban after pressure from the Qatari authorities.

 
This comes after the Qatari royals pressured FIFA officials who were shocked to hear that fans will not be allowed to during at the grounds.

Soon after press briefings started, Budweiser tweeted, “Well, this is awkward…,” in reference to the decision to ban beer sales on stadium concourses and instead limit them to designated “fan zones.”
