Ariana Grande has been confirmed as the headline act for this year’s Manchester Pride Festival.
The Thank U Next singer, 25, will return to the city two years on from the 2017 terror attack at her Manchester Arena show.
The performance, at the annual LGBTQ+ festival, will be her first in Manchester since the One Love fundraising concert.
Ariana will be joined by 89.7 Bay favourites Years and Years, Basement Jaxx, Liberty X and Pixie Lott.
According to the BBC, she will perform at a new 9,000-capacity outdoor venue, which is situated at an old railway depot on Sunday August 25.
Ariana was made an honorary citizen of Manchester after organising the One Love show at Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground, which featured performances from Take That, Black Eyed Peas, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Coldplay and Justin Bieber.
Tickets for the Manchester Pride Festival 2019 are on sale now.
