Ariana Grande has discovered she is allergic to tomatoes.
The Thank You Next singer, 25, said the condition forced her to cancel a number of concerts in the US this week.
The singer was due to take to the stage in Florida, with stops in Orlando and Tampa, but was forced to pull out after falling ill.
Ariana said doctors told her the allergy caused her throat to swell up.
She told her 156 million fans on Instagram: ‘We discovered that I had an unfortunate allergic reaction to tomatoes and my throat pretty much closed.
‘Still feels like I’m swallowing a cactus but slowly making progress! Thank you all for your love and understanding.
‘I can’t wait to get back to performing and to make it up to Tampa and Orlando in November.’
She added: ‘There’s nothing more unfair than an Italian woman developing an allergy to tomatoes in her mid-twenties.’
Here’s hoping Ariana feels better soon!
Ariana is currently in the middle of her latest world tour.
She is due to perform in Europe later this year, with concerts lined up in London, Glasgow, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Vienna, Dublin and Birmingham.
She will also headline Manchester Pride this summer, returning to the city two years after a suicide bomber killed 22 fans at her concert in 2017.
She wrote her hit single No Tears Left To Cry after the Manchester attack. It was her first release after a short break from music.
