Another 329 COVID-19 Cases Registered in the Past 24 Hours, Active Cases now at 3,188

Malta’s active COVID-19 cases currently stand at 3,188 after 329 new cases were registered in the past 24 hours, while 259 people recovered, following 3,779 swab tests which were carried out.

Meanwhile, Malta’s death toll has gone up to 346 after 5 persons died in the past 24 hours while COVID-19 positive: 2 males aged 73 and 38 and an 85-year-old female died at Mater Dei Hospital while a 62-year old male and a 47-year old female died in their respective private residencies.

As to what regards the National Vaccination Programme, till yesterday, 113,258 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered, of which 37,182 were 2nd doses.
