‘AGT’ Star Nightbirde Dies At 31 After Cancer Battle

The American’s Got Talent Star, Jane Marczewski, that goes by the stage name of Nightbirde, died after her battle with cancer. Just last year, the world got to know her story through her song “It’s OK”.

The 31-year-old singer passed away last Saturday after months of treatment for her cancer which had spread to her lungs, spine and liver. She auditioned for America’s Got Talent back in June of 2021 and moved the judges with her passion for singing and her love for life.

During her first audition, she sang her original song “It’s OK” which made the judges, even Simon Cowell emotional. In fact, Simon Cowell even gave her his golden buzzer. Unfortunately, she had to withdraw from the competition to focus on her health after making it to the quarterfinals.

Jane had previously been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 which she survived despite being given a small window of survival. However, the cancer returned back in a metastatic state in 2021. She fought hard to survive and lived much longer than the health professionals predicted.

Rest in peace Nightbirde.
