Malta’s Active COVID-19 cases have gone down once again in the past 24 hours, as 102 new COVID-19 cases have been registered overnight, while 291 people recovered, following 3,049 swab tests which were carried out.
This mean’s that from yesterday’s 2,276 active COVID-19 cases, Malta currently has 2,086 Active Cases.
Meanwhile, in the past 24 hours, a 76-year old woman passed away at Mater Dei Hospital while COVID-19 positive, bringing Malta’s COVID-19 death toll to 378.
As to what regards the COVID-19 National Vaccination Programme, till yesterday, 160,260 doses were administered, of which, 47,081 were 2nd doses.
