In the coming hours, Sliema murder suspect is set to be discharged from mental health hospital Mount Carmel and will be continuing interrogations conducted by the police force.
No conclusions have so far been announced by staff at the mental health hospital however the clearance has been approved for further interrogations to take place by police.
The police will be interrogated Aquilina following his actions on the second day of January in Sliema, resulting in the murder of 29-year-old Paulina Dembska from Poland. The autopsy confirmed she had been raped and strangled and found suffering head and neck injuries, indicating a suffocation. The main reason why the murder suspect required mental health assistance was due to the fact that he repeatedly mentioned the fact that the devil spoke to him and “ordered him” to commit the crime.
