9 New COVID-19 Cases Registered Overnight As 29 People Recover

 

After 1,971 swab tests which were carried out in the past 24 hours, 9 new COVID-19 cases were registered while 29 people recovered. This brings Malta’s Active COVID-19 cases down to 260, as the downward trend of the past week seems to be continuing.

 

 

Meanwhile, no deaths were recorded once again, maintaining Malta’s COVID-19 death toll at 416.

 

As to what regards the COVID-19 National Vaccination Programme, till yesterday, 359,429 doses were administered, of which, 112,731 were 2nd doses.
