Be part of 89.7 Bay’s campaign to clean up Malta

89.7 Bay’s new campaign for 2018 is Making Malta Green and Clean.

The national push aims to urge listeners to take action to make Malta a cleaner and greener place.

89.7 Bay director Kevin DeCesare said the radio station aimed to increase awareness about the environment and recycling issues as well as helping to boost public pride in Malta and Gozo.

He added: ‘Making Malta Green and Clean will encourage people to love where they live – and to take pride in their street, town or village by keeping it clean and tidy.

‘Our multi-media campaign will be heavily promoted on radio, in newspapers and online – urging residents, community groups, schools and businesses to take action to make their neighbourhoods cleaner and greener places to live and visit.’

Owned and operated by Malta’s leading entertainment company, Eden Leisure Group and with the largest percentage of radio listeners on the island and almost 1,000,000 Facebook fans, 89.7 Bay has the reach to make a difference and clean up the Maltese environment.

As part of the campaign, a dedicated website has also been set up at www.mmgc.com.mt

Making Malta Green and Clean is supported by GSD Marketing Ltd, the Cleansing Services Directorate, Malta Today, the Ministry for TourismInterContinental Malta, Eden Leisure Group, Wasteserv, the Ministry for the Environment, Sustainable Development & Climate Change and KSU.
