89.7 Bay backs ‘Stop The Stigma’ sexual health campaign

89.7 Bay is supporting a new sexual health campaign at the University of Malta.

Stop The Stigma will raise awareness about sexually transmitted infections and urges students to get tested if they are concerned that they may have put themselves at risk of an STI.

The GU clinic at Mater Dei Hospital offers a free testing service.

Daniel and Ylenia from Bay Breakfast said: ‘We’re delighted to back this University of Malta social media campaign, which aims to promote safe sex as well as STI testing, free of shame and embarrassment.’

The campaign is led by the Malta Medical Students’ Association and the Malta Health Students’ Association and has been endorsed by the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Directorate.
