47 New COVID-19 Cases Registered Overnight, As 52 People Recover


After 2,036 swab tests which were carried out in the past 24 hours, 47 new COVID-19 cases were registered while 52 people recovered. This brings Malta’s Active COVID-19 cases down to 553, as the downward trend of the past week seems to be continuing.



Meanwhile, no deaths were registered overnight, maintaining Malta’s COVID-19 death toll at 402.


As to what regards the COVID-19 National Vaccination Programme, till yesterday, 244,718 doses were administered, of which, 71, 481 were 2nd doses.
