33 New COVID-19 Cases Registered Overnight As 38 People Recover


Following the 1,804 swab tests that were carried out in the past 24 hours, 33 new COVID-19 cases were registered, as 38 people recovered. This brings Malta’s Active COVID-19 cases down to 513, as the downward trend of the past week – if not month – seems to be continuing.



Meanwhile, however, a 94-year-old female died at Mater Dei Hospital while COVID-19 positive, bringing Malta’s COVID-19 death toll up to 412.


As to what regards the COVID-19 National Vaccination Programme, till yesterday, 301,594 doses were administered, of which, 96,631 were 2nd doses.
