3 New COVID-19 Cases confirmed in Malta

 

Prf Charmaine Gauci, Superintendent of Public Health has just confirmed that 3 more people have resulted positive to the COVID-19 Virus, bringing the total of Coronavirus Cases in Malta to 21.

Earlier this morning it was also confirmed that 2 persons have now recovered from the virus, bringing to total of recovered persons to 2.

The new cases are a 23-year-old healthworker and a 20-year-old Maltese individual, both of whom came from Dublin, as well as a 21-year-old Portuguese individual who came from Madrid for work purposes.

So far, 700 tests for coronavirus have been conducted and another 600 on those who were entering Mater Dei. The test rate is among the highest in Europe.
