27 New COVID-19 Cases Registered Overnight As 30 People Recover


After 1,883 swab tests which were carried out in the past 24 hours, 27 new COVID-19 cases were registered while 30 people recovered. This brings Malta’s Active COVID-19 cases down to 583, as the downward trend of the past week seems to be continuing.



Meanwhile, however, 2 males both aged 67 died at Mater Dei Hospital while COVID-19 positive, bringing Malta’s COVID-19 death toll up to 405.


As to what regards the COVID-19 National Vaccination Programme, till yesterday, 264,658 doses were administered, of which, 80,671 were 2nd doses.
