27 New COVID-19 Cases Registered Overnight As 19 People Recover


Following 1,636 swab tests, which were carried out in the past 24 hours, 27 new COVID-19 cases were registered while 19 people recovered. This brings Malta’s Active COVID-19 cases up to 288.



Meanwhile, no deaths were registered overnight, maintaining Malta’s COVID-19 death toll at 416, as no recent deaths have been registered for over a week now.


As to what regards the COVID-19 National Vaccination Programme, till yesterday, 346,951 doses were administered, of which, 109,933 were 2nd doses.
