Free wi-fi is available on Malta’s buses from this weekend.
Every bus has been fitted with a wi-fi connection, offering free wireless internet for commuters across Malta.
Daniel Grech from Malta Public Transport told 89.7 Bay: ‘Through our collaboration with Transport Malta, Malta Public Transport is pleased to offer more value and more convenience, without any extra charges for the customers.
‘With the free wi-fi our buses are not only connecting passengers to their destinations, but also keeping them connected online throughout their journey.’
Commuters were able to try out the service during a three-month trial scheme on bus routes X2 and X3.
Malta’s transport minister Ian Borg said the new service would ‘continue to improve the customer experience on board our public transport buses.’
