18 Female Guards Fired For Having Sex With Prisoners

Female Guards Fired Affairs Inmates

 

18 female prison guards were sacked for either having “illicit affairs” or crossing relationship boundaries with inmates.

 

 

Due to their illicit interactions with convicts at HMP Berwyn in Wrexham, Wales, three of the ladies ended up in court.

Jennifer Gavan, 27, Ayshea Gunn, 27, and Emily Watson, 27, are among those being investigated for combining business and pleasure.

 

Following her liaison with 25-year-old prisoner Alex Coxon in December, Gavan was sentenced to eight months in prison. She had kissed him and sent him the private Snapchat images of herself. The relationship lasted from April until July of 2020.

 

She also smuggled a mobile phone behind bars for Coxon, accepting £150 in payment.

 

She would eventually enter a guilty plea for improper behavior at Mold Crown Court.

Ayshea Gunn, a fellow officer, had an affair with Khuram Razaq, a 29-year-old “dangerous” prisoner, a year earlier.

 

Photos discovered in Gunn’s bedroom in 2019 showed her kissing Razaq passionately before she was sentenced to a year in prison.

 

 

In order to go even further with her offense, Emily Watson was sentenced to prison for giving John McGee a sex act in his cell.

 

The court was informed that Watson and McGee had had three separate encounters in his cell, twice for oral sex and once for physical contact.
