Malta’s murals have become a real talking point with beautiful big designs brightening up tired spaces and bare walls across the island.
The first piece of public street art was produced in 2005 and new paintings and street art designs are popping up all the time in places like Msida, St Julian’s, Sliema, Mosta, Fgura, San Gwann, Pembroke and Floriana.
Now an Instagram page Malta Street Art has put together a huge gallery to showcase some of the best of what the island has to offer by Maltese artists such as Lewis Zammit, Twitch, Justin Bonnici and more.
Here’s a selection of some of our favourites:
1. Marsaxlokk, by Twitch
2. Msida Skate Park
3. White Rocks, Pembroke by Twitch
